How To Get Ron Paul Elected

How To Get Ron Paul Elected

Top Five Things-To-Do in Order to Get Ron Paul
Elected as the Next President of the United States

# 1 Teach Young, First-Time Voters to Register Republican and Vote for Ron Paul

This is an important first step as these first-time voters are truly ripe for the picking. They also represent the “low hanging fruit” for the Ron Paul campaign as the message of liberty, freedom and a return to Constitutional goverment is proving very popular among high-school and college age voters, all across America. College and university campuses should be a primary (and fun!) target for recruiting new voters and Ron Paul campaign supporters. Check out www.StudentsForPaul.org

# 2 Convert Long-Time Republicans into Ron Paul Supporters

Many Conservative Republicans are well intended in their belief systems, however misled by the biased Main Stream Media and increasing avalanches of propoganda. Many of these good ol’ folks simply do not have the correct information about the issues and for the most part have been ”sold a bill of goods” all of their Republican lives. It is our right, it is our duty to share with them the real truth about the issues - in a non-combattive fashion, in order to demonstrate that Ron Paul is the only REAL and TRUE Conservative Republican in the race for President in 2008. The key to winning over these life-long Republican voters is calmly and diligently seeking and illuminating the COMMON GROUND between their political “hot-buttons” and the conservative positions held by Dr. Ron Paul. Focus on where their conservative concerns agree with Dr. Paul and NOT on where they may differ. Check out Seniors for Ron Paul

# 3 Convert Democrats, Independents, etc. into Ron Paul Supporters

One of the most amazing things about Ron Paul is that he has demonstrated an almost unheard-of ability to attract loyal, dedicated supporters from accross all party lines and affiliations. This is a testament to the significance of his core principles: Liberty is for EVERY AMERICAN and we should not be ”spreading democracy” around the world by force while virtually abandoning our own people and destroying our own liberties in the process. That’s not freedom and that’s not what our founding fathers fought and bled on this soil for. The rights that are guaranteed by our Creator and outlined in our Constition should be the number one concern of every single Democrat as well as the Republicans and Libertarians. Without the Constitution honored and protected, we might as well all go home and stop discussing any of the political issues of the day, for they will not even matter soon enough if we stay on the collision course charted for us by current leaders.

While this at first will surprise most Democrat voters, Ron Paul does in fact champion many of the same positions that today’s Democrats are concerned about: ending the endless war(s), restoring our civil liberties, repairing and strengthening the economy and getting the federal government out of our personal lives and personal decisions. This is not a challenge to be underataken by the under-educated Ron Paul supporter. If you’re going to attempt creating converts from accross the party lines, you must be well prepared and have done your homework. Again, it is absolutely critical that you look for the common ground between Democratic voters and Dr. Paul’s positions. While this is not for the faint of heart, with a properly designed strategy and plenty of issue specific literature and DVDs to demonstrate how Ron Paul is really the best choice for ALL AMERICANS, regardless of their current party affiliation, we can render useless the party system so intended to divide our nation, we will take back the White House for the people, restore the Constitution and regain our God given liberties and freedoms at home.

# 4 Win State Presidential Primary Elections

In many states, voters MUST be registered IN ADVANCE as a Republican in order to cast their vote for Ron Paul in a Presidential Primary Election. PrimarilyPaul.com offers a great reference on this. Many voters for one, do not even know this. Many other voters simply do not vote in the primary elections. We must get the word out that this election is possibly the most monumental and critical election in the history of the United States of America. If the people of this nation do not assert their right to elect the best man for the job, invariably one will be “selected for them” in the same old business as usual format that we have seen for all too long in this country. We must inform every Ron Paul supporter of the importance of registering as a Republican voter NOW - well in advance of the primary.

It is important to note that many, many people I have spoken with have an immediate aversion to associating with anything “Republican” as they clearly have been imprinted with such a strong negative impression of the Republican party. These folks absolutely abhor the thought of ”aligning themselves” with a party or group that has for so long been diametrically opposed to their political positions. To these folks, the very thought of registering as a Republican makes them more than a little bit queezy. However, these voters can be (and are being) gently turned around to understand that when tens, or possibly even hundreds of thousands of voters from all previous affiliations unite BEHIND Dr. Ron Paul under his chosen banner of the Republican Party for the specific purpose of taking the Republican party back, for the people and returning it to it’s historically conservative position - WE WILL NOW IMMEDIATELY BECOME THE NEW FACE OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY!!! We are immediately re-defining the party from the inside out when we register as a Republican voter. While this strategy is not always immediately clear to life-long Democrats, Libertarians, Independants and Green party members, with a little time and discussion it is very realistic to help all our fellow American voters to see the brilliance of this strategy. Let’s take the Republican party by flood - and fix it - from the inside out. Register Republican and Vote Ron Paul!

# 5 Get Ron Paul Nominated by Delegates at the Republican National Convention

Before Ron Paul can get elected, he has to be nominated by delegates at the Republican National Convention which will take place in St. Paul, Minnesota. September 1-4, 2008.We have to get elected as delegates to the convention. Electoral college delegates have to be constitutionalists because they elect the president by casting their vote. Those who support Ron Paul must begin the process now of getting elected as a delegate to the convention or it’s all over and the GOP faithful will get the shadow government’s choice shoved down their throats - again. The power players behind the scenes will orchestrate the show and the people will be the losers - again. The same applies with getting nominated as an electoral college delegate because America got a good lesson in civics during the 2000 pretend election regarding the popular vote vs the electoral college system.A word to the wise: if you present yourself as a supporter of Ron Paul, you will never get elected as a delegate. Wave the flag, shout power to the GOP, rah, rah, rah, get elected and then begin your campaign to get Ron Paul nominated. Now, some might say this type of stealth isn’t right. Here’s what’s not right: back room deals and big money giving the American people no choice in these elections and anyone who thinks this isn’t how the process has been working for the past century is in a state of denial.Get together with your friends or people you know and plan your strategy now and work to get elected as a delegate. Time is quickly slipping by, every minute counts.

Follow the steps below for details on how to become a delegate.

How to Become a Delegate (for Ron Paul!)

Step 1 Register to Vote

Register Republican if you live in a closed primary state such as NY or CA!

 >> Please Register Today so you can vote in your State Primary <<

Step 2 Become a Member of the Republican Party in your State

Step 3 The Delegate Process typically starts at your local precinct, then goes on to your county / senatorial district, then to your state primary and finally, the Republican National Convention. See your state’s delegate process to the RNC (Republican National Convention)

Step 4 The 2008 Primary Process In general, it’s a step-by-step process in becoming a delegate. For example, to become a delegate in Texas (open primary state): Vote in the 2008 Texas State Primary Election (March 4) and you are then eligible to be a delegate to your precinct. Your first convention will take place at your precinct’s election day polling place within two hours after the polls close at 7:00 p.m. Most of these “precinct conventions” are very poorly attended, and typically there are more delegate/alternate places than people to fill them, so it’s usually easy to get elected as delegate at the precinct level. WE CAN ORGANIZE AND PLAN for all this in JANUARY with plenty of time.  It’s critical that we become delegates or all our hard work will be in vain. Become a delegate and we’ll get to hear Dr. Ron Paul giving his Inaugural Address in 2009.
